A big Hello to my Lucy Rose community. I’m thinking of calling you ‘Roses’, but we can work on that!

I wanted to write this blog to introduce myself and the business on a more personal note. The business idea came to me when I was in the back of my mum’s car one Friday evening driving through my home town and seeing all the girls take off their shoes after a night out. I was 17 years old at the time and I thought there had to be a better way of solving this literal ‘pain point’ than to take them off or change shoes (which I know many working women do also).

After talking to girls and women, this problem was one which we had all encountered and I set to work thinking about how it could be done. Fortunately for me, my Dad is an ex-Formula 1 Design Engineer providing me with the kind of brain I needed to solve this design challenge. For the past seven years, we have been working on this alongside day jobs and University (for me, not Dad!).

I have finally got this website together and I guess this marks the start of building my tribe. Lucy Rose is built on the three Es: Empowerment, Elegance and Exclusivity. Now don’t get me wrong, we’re still a way from launch, but I would love for you to join me on this journey.
